Touching Sound is a practical production course focused on electronic music, taught by Tobi Neumann, with 35 years of experience and the great gear & instrument collection of the Apollo Studio Berlin. It is based in the heart of Kreuzberg inside of the Riverside Studio facilities. The studio is a spacious, fully AC-controlled and intimate room perfectly equipped for live jamming and recording-sessions.

The course consists on 4 sessions of 5 hrs each where we will go detailed through all the stages of the production of an electronic-music track. In every session you will understand a specific stage both technically and artistically. In the last session we will end up with a master class about music business talking about the situation of the electronic music industry now a days and some tips. In each of the editions of Touching Sound we invite a guest tutor for one of the sessions, he/she will be sharing some techniques and tricks. 

You will have the opportunity to work hands on with a proper collection of some of the most iconic old synthesizers, drum machines, hardware sequencers and peripherals plus a sophisticated modular system. Everything is ready to use, perfectly integrated & synched to the host sequencers and running through a Zaehl AM1, 54 channel analog state-of-the-art mixing console.

The objective being to stimulate your creativity and by learning your tools materialize your ideas, taking your production to the next level.
